This weekend?s Mayweather-Pacquiao mega-fight has the whole sports world coming out of the woodwork with wall-to-wall coverage and plenty of opinions from people you might not even care about.
Yes, David Hasselhoff, we?re talking to you.
As the networks descend upon Sin City, a fighting organization that has made its home here ? the Ultimate Fighting Championship ? has a roster full of athletes who know a thing or two about fist fighting. And the UFC asked seemingly every single one of them who they thought was going to win the big fight.
Michael Bisping speaks about fighter deterioration, Lyoto Machida talks about his belief in Manny Pacquiao, and Al Iaquinta even offers this up: ?He?s waited until the perfect time to get Pacquiao. I think Pacquiao?s slowing down a little bit and his chin is a little suspect.?
Give it a watch, fight fans. May 2 is only days away.

Irish-born UFC superstar Conor McGregor has had quite a year.
First came a headlining performance of the night in January against Dennis Siver in Boston. Shortly thereafter the UFC announced that he would be getting his long-desired title shot against featherweight champion Jose Aldo on July 11 in Las Vegas at UFC 189.
Just last week McGregor created a mini-media firestorm when he mentioned that he would beat Floyd Mayweather in less than 30 seconds if they fought. And get this ? Mayweather actually took the time to respond, calling McGregor a ?joke? (for reference, ?Money? was once asked about UFC star Ronda Rousey before replying, "I don?t know who he is").
When he isn?t finishing his opponents in the Octagon or trolling future hall-of-fame boxers in the media, McGregor can be found in his signature suits, riling up fans and piling up paychecks.
The Conor McGregor train continued to roll Thursday night when the featherweight announced another addition to his growing bank account.
I have inked a deal with @budlight. It is an honor to team up with this game changing brand as I too change the game. pic.twitter.com/2AdR2bBzpP
? Conor McGregor (@TheNotoriousMMA) April 24, 2015
McGregor, who is also inked to an exclusive Reebok deal, has been known to enjoy a pint or two in his native Dublin. Now he finds himself in partnership with American brewer Anheuser-Busch.
No word from Guinness on how they could let this happen.

Michael Bisping came into his UFC 186 fight on Saturday night against CB Dollaway determined to prove that he was more than just a gatekeeper for the UFC's middleweight division.
And after a hard fought unanimous decision victory over Dollaway, the 23-fight UFC veteran may finally be on his way to losing the "longest-tenured fighter to never fight for a championship" label.
[DraftKings: UFC contests are live today ? draft your team now!]
Prior to tonight's fight inside the Bell Centre in Montreal, Bisping was just 3-4 in his last seven fights and was coming off a loss to surging UFC contender Luke Rockhold. Consistency has been the name of the game in the 36-year-old's decade-long UFC career and Bisping knows he has more convincing to do if he ever wants to see gold in his future.
"Listen, I know more than anybody I've had my setbacks," said Bisping post-fight, "but trust me, I'm still working. I have the potential [and] believe you me, I'm going nowhere. I want this more than anyone. I will be champion one day.
It is hard reconciling with the fact that an up-and-down fighter like Bisping could ever reach promotional gold, but Saturday's performance undoubtedly showed the continued evolution of "The Count" ? something fans were first witness to in his mostly striking-heavy domination of stand-up wizard Cung Le in Aug. 2014.
On Saturday, Bisping showcased his takedown defense at the most opportune moments, to secure a very close decision win over Dollaway. Of course, there was the signature counter-punching and rangy jab from Bisping, but when the fight got tough, Bisping got tough ? most notably towards the end of round one when Dollaway unleashed a hellish left hook that floored Bisping. It was the same punch that Dollaway used to dispatch of TUF Brazil winner Cezar Ferreira in March 2014. Bisping fought off the oncoming storm that followed from his opponent and even managed a flurry of his own to end the round.
The end of round two saw Dollaway earn a well-timed takedown to finish the round, but it came after plenty of big left hooks from Dollaway and counter shots from Bisping on the feet.
In the dwindling seconds of the third and final frame ? and after even more stand-up exchanges than in the round prior ? Dollaway went for another round-stealing takedown. This time Bisping was prepared, sprawling with textbook precision, turning Dollaway onto the mat and raining down punches. There was a scramble to the feet in the final 10 seconds with Bisping connecting on a solid hook on the feet to end the round.
It all added up to a (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) unanimous decision victory for brash Brit. After, Bisping continued to elaborate on the fight and give praise to Dollaway (sort of) after their entertaining scrap.
"CB Dollaway, he's tough man," he said. "Hell of a fight. I did think he would be easier, but this is the UFC and he's a top-10 guy."
"His standup was better than I thought it would be to be honest. He got me with a few good shots ? congratulations."

When female MMA powerhouse Cristiane "Cyborg" Justino made $90,000 in her last fight for the Invicta FC promotion back in February, many speculated that her paycheck was footed by the UFC.
It wasn't that the all-ladies promotion couldn't or wouldn't be able to dole out that sort of payday. It was just such a staggering lump sum for a promotion that, otherwise, had only paid out fractions comparatively to its other top stars in prior years.
[DraftKings: Build your ultimate fantasy MMA team today!]
It turns out all the speculation was more than warranted, as news broke Wednesday that the feared Brazilian striker is officially a UFC employee.
And she has been for two months.
The news was first reported by Brazilian media outlet Globo and subsequently confirmed on "UFC Tonight."
"We want to let the world know that we want to make this fight," UFC president Dana White told "UFC Tonight" reporter Ariel Helwani. "Ronda wants this fight, everyone wants this fight to happen. But she needs to make 135 outside the UFC."
Justino (13-1-1) signed the deal with Zuffa before her last fight with Invicta in February. White said the plan is for her to fight for Invicta in July at 145 pounds. Then around the end of the year, she will make her first attempt at the bantamweight limit of 135 pounds. If she is successful in making the weight, a date with Rousey is all but assured.
Rousey is a phenom the likes of which MMA has never seen. Her last two fights were finished in a combined 30 seconds. She is an undefeated champ, movie star and a former Olympian. And seemingly ever since her UFC debut in February 2013, the name that has been synonymous with Rousey's rise has been Cyborg.
In August 2009, Cyborg retired Gina Carano in a Strikeforce fight on Showtime after bludgeoning her with a vicious first-round onslaught. Up until that point, Carano was an undefeated superstar with massive crossover appeal. A few months after the Justino beatdown, Carano starred in the Steven Soderberg directed film "Haywire," and her MMA career appeared to be finished.
The performance that Cyborg put on against Carano was about as effective of a statement as a fighter could hope for. Unfortunately, the dethroning of Carano wasn't enough for the UFC to create an entire division around Cyborg, like it did for Rousey. Whether it was Justino's failed drug test for the steroid stanozolol two years after the Carano win, or her inability to connect with the mainstream audience the way Rousey has, there have definitely been undertones of jealousy when Justino speaks about Rousey.
And speak she has. Everyone from Rousey's mother, to her coach, to her Hollywood friends ? any and all have become fair game in Justino's quest for a UFC career.
Rousey fights Brazilian Bethe Correia at UFC 190 on August 1 in Brazil. Currently, Correia is the seventh-ranked prospect in the bantamweight division. As of right now, Rousey is a 20-to-1 favorite, and with the way "Rowdy" has looked in her entire UFC career, that may be giving Correia too much credit.
The UFC is short on contenders for Rousey, and that's not going to be remedied anytime soon. The 'official' announcement that Justino has joined the UFC family is paramount, both in the growth of the sport overall, and the growth of women's MMA ? which if you are using Rousey's last PPV as an estimate (500,000-plus), is doing just fine.
That said, every division needs a true rivalry ? especially when dominance is the name of the game for a wrecking ball like Rousey. "Rowdy" had her first rivalry with fellow bantamweight fan-favorite Miesha Tate. But Tate got two chances and couldn't topple Rousey.
We may not know if Cyborg is competition for Rousey or if Rousey is competition for Cyborg. But now that the money has been put to the proverbial mouth, the whole MMA world can rejoice that it is one step closer to women's MMA's first, true superfight.
Assuming Cyborg can make the weight, of course.
"I don't want to speak about Cris Cyborg anymore," said White. "Let her make the weight. The ball is in her court."

UFC light heavyweight contender Alexander Gustafsson recently spoke to Expressen.se about his shocking first-round knockout loss to Anthony Johnson in his hometown of Stockholm, Sweden, back in January. After having a few weeks to digest the devastating setback, Gustafsson made a shocking revelation: he almost quit the sport at 28.
?It has definitely been my most difficult period in life so far,? Gustafsson said. ?I thought about it. I was really close to quitting.?
It is rare to hear a fighter speak so candidly about his ongoing career swings just a few months removed from the event itself. The loss felt by Gustafsson was compounded by the fact that he was surrounded by friends and family, undoubtedly making the knockout that much more difficult to overcome.
?I do not care really [about] the title," Gustafsson said. "It was that it happened in front of my home crowd -- my cousins' cousins were in the place.?
?The Mauler? is coming off a two-week vacation and has a new opponent waiting in the shadows -- Brazilian bomber Glover Teixeira on June 20 in Germany. The scheduled matchup between two of the light heavyweight divison?s most dangerous contenders has Gustafsson primed for redemption.
?I did not show my potential,? he said. ?It went too fast. So, it feels good to get another chance. I know I can be the best in the world and I intend to show [that].?
And anyone questioning Gustafsson?s motivation after his recent admission better pump their breaks, because the UFC?s No. 2 light heavyweight contender still has his eyes set on a rematch with divisional kingpin Jon Jones in the near future.
?I have a new [gameplan] that made me very motivated,? he said. ?If I had not wanted to do this anymore, I [would have] stopped. But I want to continue. There is no doubt about it. No one is forcing me. I'm not doing this for money, but to be the best in the world.

Zuffa, the company which owns the UFC, didn't come out on top in its lawsuit against the New York attorney general challenging the constitutionality of the state's law which bans professional mixed martial arts. But this might be a case in which the loser didn't exactly lose.
[DraftKings: Build your ultimate fantasy MMA team today!]
New York is the only state in the country which bans professional mixed martial arts. Though amateur MMA and many unsanctioned illegal professional bouts are held in the state each year, the 1997 law, "The Live Professional MMA Ban," has been cited to prevent licensed promoters from holding sanctioned MMA fights in the state.
U.S. District Judge Kimba M. Wood did not rule on the merits of Zuffa's suit, writing that Zuffa did not have the proper legal standing to bring the action.
In her conclusion, though, she seemed to indicate she believed the law did not ban professional MMA in the state. Zuffa has not attempted stage a card in New York without getting the law overturned because the Attorney General's position is that it would be a crime to do so. Wood, however, seemed to indicate that she felt differently.
While ruling against Zuffa because it lacks standing, Wood wrote, "Plaintiffs, particularly Zuffa, may consider filing new vagueness claims based on events that occurred after this lawsuit commenced, including the [Office of the Attorney General?s] recent statements that the Ban prohibits sanctioned professional MMA (despite its plain language to the contrary). The Court advises Plaintiffs to weigh the merits of a new federal suit against those of a state declaratory judgment action, given that the latter ? unlike a federal decision on vagueness grounds ? could decisively settle disputes regarding the Ban?s scope."
During a Feb. 13, 2013, hearing on the New York Attorney General's motion to dismiss the case, Zuffa was arguing that it would face potential criminal prosecution if it attempted to promote a card in the state while "The Live Professional MMA Ban" was in place.
But a deputy district attorney said that Zuffa could stage an event by partnering with a licensed promoter who was specifically exempted by the law, such as a karate promoter. The attorney general's office backtracked on that point later, but Wood took note of it and wrote about it in her decision Tuesday granting the summary judgment for the defendants.
"In briefing and argument related to its motions to dismiss the initial complaint and First Amended Complaint, the OAG suggested that Zuffa would be able to promote a professional MMA event sanctioned by one of the Ban?s exempt organizations," Wood wrote. "After Zuffa began planning such an event, however, the OAG reversed course and declared all sanctioned professional MMA illegal under the Ban"
But because that comment came after the suit had already been filed, Zuffa couldn't rely upon it for the basis of finding the law unnecessarily vague. It is why, however, she suggested Zuffa consider another legal action making that argument.
The UFC is considering whether to appeal Wood's ruling or whether to file another lawsuit. But there is activity in the state legislature that may overturn the law and make the issue moot. A bill to legalize professional MMA has passed the New York state senate six years in a row, but it hasn't come to a vote in the state assembly. Powerful former speaker Sheldon Silver, who was indicted in February on federal corruption charges and resigned his post, prevented the bill from going to the floor for a vote.
Silver has been replaced as speaker by Carl Heastie, who is considered an MMA proponent.

Almost one year to the day since winning the welterweight championship at UFC 171, Johny Hendricks returned to the American Airlines Center on Saturday night at UFC 185 in Dallas with his sights set on earning another title shot for a belt he still can?t fully grasp how he lost.
[DraftKings: Build your ultimate fantasy MMA team today!.]
Following a dominant unanimous victory against gritty welterweight stalwart Matt ?The Immortal? Brown, Hendricks might get his wish later this year.
The opening frame set the pace for the rest of the fight. Hendricks bullied Brown with looping hooks and precision cage control. When Brown looked to tie up or use some of his submission skills, Hendricks powered out of the attempts and landed punishing offense of his own.
By the middle of the fight, Hendricks landed his lead left at will. It was a resilient display by the former All-American collegiate wrestler, who has made quite the name for himself as a power puncher (Hendricks is a three-time KO of the Night recipient).
His big left hook paved the way for takedowns ? and the 31-year-old landed them at will. Hendricks landed nine takedowns in total, compared to Brown?s zero, according to FightMetric.
Post-fight, however, Hendricks was more than a little displeased with his performance. But leave it to a hospitable Texas crowd to cheer its hometown boy up:
?This is why I love Texas, right here!? yelled Hendricks after initially shaking his head when Joe Rogan stepped up.
?That wasn?t a good fight,? continued Hendricks. ?I just can?t figure it out, man. I?m going out there, I?m starting strong, but, hell, I just can?t finish.?
Rogan assured him that the fight was more than entertaining.
?Yeah, but I want perfect.?
The welterweight title is on the line when Robbie Lawler meets Canadian challenger Rory MacDonald at UFC 189 on July 11. And after a nice rest, Hendricks made it clear that he has dibbs on ?his? title.
?Whoever wins out of those two -- I don?t care -- I want one of ?em. I don?t care,? Hendricks said. ?And I?m gonna win. I got six months and that?ll be the best Johny Hendricks you?ve ever seen.?

Ronda Rousey won her last fight in just 14 seconds, successfully defending her UFC women's bantamweight title against previously unbeaten Cat Zingano by catching Zingano in an arm bar.
[DraftKings: Players Who Drafted Ronda Rousey during UFC 184 won over $150,000. Draft Your Fantasy MMA Team.]
The fight before that, she needed just 16 seconds to best Alexis Davis at UFC 175.
Rousey has become the talk of the sports world because of her dominance. On Monday, former New York Mets general manager Steve Phillips and 1996 National League Rookie of the Year Todd Hollandsworth mentioned her on MLB Network Radio on SiriusXM, and they joked about which baseball player they could find who could hang with Rousey in a fight.
On "WWE Raw" on Monday, just two days after Rousey's incredible victory over Zingano at Staples Center in Los Angeles, Paul Heyman was doing a promo for ex-UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar's match at WrestleMania against Roman Reigns that is set for later this month.
Heyman told Reigns, "Brock Lesnar [might] simply Ronda Rousey your ass."
She's been so dominant there has even been crazy talk of her fighting a man. But such quick wins are nothing new to Rousey. When she was 14 and competing in judo, she defeated an opponent in just four seconds using an Ippon, or perfect throw.
The entire video is below. And while it's not of the greatest quality, it's obvious that Rousey was just as dominant as a young girl as she is now. She also has the giddy celebration that she still uses in the UFC.

You can say a lot of things about boxing?s pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather. One thing you cannot say, however, is that he lacks confidence.
[DraftKings: UFC contests are live today ? draft your team now!]
So, then, perhaps when UFC featherweight contender Conor McGregor said this week that he would ?kill? Mayweather in less than thirty seconds, maybe ?Money? would appreciate the blinding braggadocio.
?I don?t look at a man who?s an expert in one area as a specialist. I look at him as a rookie in ten other areas,? McGregor said in an interview with Esquire. ?If you can box, what happens if I grab hold of your legs? If you put me face-to-face with Floyd Mayweather?pound-for-pound boxing?s best?if I fought Floyd, I would kill him in less than 30 seconds. It would take me less than 30 seconds to wrap around him like a boa constrictor and strangle him.?
Hyperbole? Maybe.
Entertaining? Always.
Both McGregor and Mayweather have a penchant for slinging around grandiose statements. The only difference is, Mayweather has been a professional boxer since 1996, carries an Olympic pedigree, and is undefeated in 47 fights. McGregor, well, he?s fighting for his very first title this summer at UFC 189 in July against one of MMA?s pound-for-pound kings, Jose Aldo. This goes without mentioning that we are talking about two completely different sports, here.
That said, McGregor has seen a meteoric rise in MMA because of his mouth and his impressive ability inside the cage. People thought McGregor was insane when he said that ? after only two UFC wins ? he would be fighting Aldo by the end of 2015. Yet, here we stand.
McGregor-Mayweather will never happen. But leave it to the astute Irishman to drum up publicity for himself by throwing out Mayweather's name two weeks before the biggest fight in boxing history. Mayweather meets Manny Pacquiao on May 2 in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Then, there was the well-documented tug-of-war between the UFC and Bellator over Quinton ?Rampage? Jackson's involvement in the co-main event. Now, on Wednesday, the UFC has announced that Dish Network and the Las Vegas-based MMA promotion have been unsuccessful in coming to terms on a distribution deal. Therefore, Dish Network subscribers won't be able to purchase UFC 186.
The UFC issued the following statement to its fans via their website.
"Due to contractual issues, DISH Network will not be offering UFC 186: Johnson vs. Horiguchi on Pay-Per-View this Saturday. While all other providers in the U.S. have come to an agreement on renewal terms, DISH Network has elected not to renew its distribution agreement with UFC. We have enjoyed a strong and productive relationship with DISH over the years, and while we?re disappointed with their decision, we are confident that our fans will be able to enjoy this weekend?s card through several other viewing options that you can read more about by clicking here. We remain hopeful that an agreement can be reached with DISH in the near future, but remain committed to ensuring that all fans have continued access to UFC events through multiple distribution options."
It is fairly commonplace in the television world for providers to negotiate over terms. Viewers often lose their favorite shows when corporations essentially use them as leverage to negotiate better terms for certain channels.
MMA fans needn?t worry too much though; issues like this are usually resolved in due time. However, those wanting to watch this Saturday's fights will have to change service providers or take the UFC's advice and phone a friend.
