Another featherweight bout has been added to the stacked UFC 154 card in Montreal, as former Ultimate Fighter contestant Steven Siler and Darren Elkins will meet in the Octagon on the preliminary portion of the lineup.
The 21-9 Siler confirmed the clash via Twitter, though no official announcement has been made.
Siler has quietly gone 3-0 in the UFC featherweight division with the most recent being his first round Guillotine Choke over Joey Gambino at UFC on FX: Maynard vs. Guida. He also holds a past win over Cole Miller.
Elkins (14-2) is now 4-1 in the UFC and is also riding a three-bout winning streak including success against Michihiro Omigawa and Tiequan Zhang. He is coming off a decision win over Diego Brandao who happens to be a common opponent with Siler (and knocked him out during their time on TUF).
UFC 154 is set to go down on November 17 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The event will feature the return of Georges St-Pierre who will defend his welterweight title against interim champion Carlos Condit.
