Jon Jones: ?I don't want to fight Lyoto again.?

If UFC light heavyweight champ Jon Jones is able to get by Dan Henderson in two weeks when they meet in headlining action at UFC 151 he already has another opponent lined up for his subsequent defense ? Lyoto Machida. Machida earned his spot as top contender with a knockout win over Ryan Bader earlier this month. However, Machida?s success against Bader marked his only appearance in the Octagon since being choked out cold by Jones this past December.

Given Machida?s minimal success since their match-up, as well as the modest interest from fans the first time around when they tussled, it appears Jones is not necessarily looking to fighting ?The Dragon? a second time.

Jones Out to TKO Henderson

?No one wants to see me fight Lyoto Machida. I don’t want to fight Lyoto again. Lyoto is high risk and low reward. He’s a tough fighter, but no one wants to buy that fight,? said Jones frankly in an interview with ESPN.

While Jones is not interested in a rematch with Machida, he?s also not looking too far down the road since it could ultimately be a moot point if he stumbles against Henderson on September 1.

?I don’t think it’s appropriate to be talking about fighting anybody but Dan Henderson,? explained the 25-year old title-holder. “I’m clearly focused on Dan Henderson. I’m not overlooking Dan.?
